Random Blog – Caliginous Ninja
Well, 2010 is here and so far so good folks.
We have some exciting plans ahead of us and hope you can be there to experience the untapped power that is Random. I come to you via San Jose Airport on the way to Reno where the weather is nice and cold. Yes, it is very cold for a Southern Cal Native Ninja but can tolerate extreme weatherquite comfortably. The Christmas vacation has not slowed me down one bit, but feels I need to share something with all of you. As you may know or not, My Dad has done tremendously well with the Chemo Therapy. Now my Mom is going to have her Hip replaced with surgery.
Well my flight is being called. So I say to you Be Cool, Be Awesome, Be RANDOM!

Random Blog – The Yusuke
Hello everyone,
First wanted to wish everyone a Happy New Year and hope everyone is doing well. The year hasn’t started out so great but hopefully the universe will balance itself out throughout the rest of the year.
I haven’t really done much over the break, just relaxed and caught up with some friends I haven’t seen for a while. I got to see a couple of movies during the break which I never do for one reason or another. Avatar was something I had to see in the theaters just so that I can say “I watched it in the theaters.” I think I’m the only one who hasn’t seen James Cameron’s movie before this and I don’t plan on watching it anytime soon. The other movie was Sherlock Holmes which I actually enjoyed. I thought it would be kind of a cheesy remake but it turned out to be pretty good.
I recently came back from a short trip to Vegas. I went there to help out a couple of friends of mine re-skin one of the taiko drums used on the show “Mystere” at Treasure Island. It was during their break so I didn’t get to see any of the perfomers but I saw the props they used for the show. If any of you saw the show and remember the trampoline they used, that thing really looks like fun to try. We also got to watch “O” at the Bellagio, the only thing I can say is the stage is awesome. The water is the main attraction for that show. But between the two I still like “Mystere” more than “O” better acts and better music in my opinion.
Looks like rain for the rest of the week so stay dry everyone and hope to see some of you on Saturday in Pasadena.

Things I do (sometimes)
Sometimes I sleep on stage randomly. Good thing no one trips on me.
Sometimes I do back flips. Good thing I only do it in my head.
Sometimes I become Force Sensitive. Good thing I often only use it for good.
Sometimes I title original RN songs by numbers. Good thing I don’t normally title the songs.
Sometimes I get excited about rocking out new songs. Good thing we have a new song “Just One Night” to rock out at the Ninja Ballz 2 show.
Sometimes I get consumed by the energy that resides in me. Good thing I have my weapons of mass distortion to diffuse the energy to the masses before it destroys me.
Sometimes I like to end things abruptly. Good thing.

Ahoiye 2010!
Hello nins! I hope everyone had a wonderful new year’s celebration.
I am blogging from a distant land, timezones and temperatures away, to the sound of a bilingual nephew’s laughter (washing toy cars in the bathroom). It is hot and humid but I’m having fun in the company of family and good friends – over good food and drinks.
So far, I’ve visited 4 different malls/shopping centers all of which were packed! They were also open until about 10pm. Most cafes (the major ones like Starbucks, Coffee Bean, Seattle’s Best..) are open until the wee hours of the morning (2 or 3am…) – and are almost always bursting with people. A friend said that Starbucks has more of a young crowd (read: rowdy/”trendy”) than Coffee Bean’s (more relaxed, better for talking).
Speaking of Starbucks, I got my “free planner” (well, it wasn’t really free..) really quick! Starbucks has this promo where they give out fold-out cards that you’re supposed to fill with stickers. 1 drink = 1 sticker, and you’re supposed to get 17 stickers to get a planner (with 3 different designs to choose from). Luckily, one of my friends donated to the cause and gave me her almost completed card (she had 11 stickers on it), which I combined with mine (I had 4). Another friend and I each bought a drink to get 2 stickers to complete the 17.
Mission completed in 2 days, got my planner!
